The tradition of celebrating the Dutch Monarch's birthday

Every year, by the end of April, The Netherlands turn orange to celebrate the Dutch King’s Birthday. Dutch and Dutch-minded communities all over the World join in. So does the Dutch community in San Diego. For one day, Dutch and Dutch-minded San Diegans take on the orange, the color of the royal Dutch family.

Come join us in celebrating the King’s Birthday with Dutch and Indonesian traditional food and drinks, music from our Belgian DJ, traditional children’s games, a kid’s flea market and lots of entertainment.

Parking at the venue is limited, but here are some great options:

Paid parking at ACE: 4250 Executive Drive (right across the street)

Free street parking on Eastgate Mall

Mandell Weiss Park (backside of venue on Eastgate Mall – easy access!)

Online bidding is possible when pre-registering on THE AUCTION WEBSITE. The auction will kick off on Saturday, April 26 at 1:00 PM and will close promptly at 4:00 PM.

Or put in a BID during the San Diego's King's Party on Saturday April 26 between 1 and 4 pm.
